Tip #1: Plan to Move in the Fall or Winter

By planning your move in the off season, you can take advantage of lower prices from movers and landlords, as well as any special deals they may offer to try to get business during their slower months.

While you may be in a rush to get your move over with, taking some time to comparison shop when you’re looking for movers can save you a lot of money.
